Re: Picture Takin' Moms...

  • I have Photoshop CS3. expensive but worth it.

You can use Gimp (FREE) which is actually pretty good! www.gimp.com

  • Loading the player...
  • I use Photoshop to do this.

Here is an example of one I did

This. I have also heard great things about Photoshop Elements which is a lot less expensive. I have never worked with it though so I am unsure how much flexibility it gives you.

  • I use Gimp, which PPs have mentioned, because I am a cheapskate.

  • Photoshop Elements supposedly has all the features of Photoshop without the high end color separating tools and such needed for commercial printing and commercial design.

You can download a trial of it from Adobe.com. I downloaded it and then let the trial run out before I had a chance to play with it to see how similar it is to Photoshop, which I have training on. I should have taken the opportunity to examine it closer.

    I'd start with that, maybe.

  • Elements isn't bad. I got a copy to put on DH's laptop so he could help me with work!

  • We use Photoshop CS3 and Aperture (mac software). But Gimp is pretty good (and free) as the PPs mentioned.
