Eclaires

Love the new siggy.  He looks so grown up!  I have been really bad about not taking pictures lately.  I need to get on that.

Re: Eclaires

  • Thankk you!

This is seriously the first time I have taken a picture since I got my BFP.  We went to the park today so I took advantage of the nice weather.

The last picture on the memory card before this is my peestick.  haha!

I've been really bad, too, obviously.  ;)

  • We took advantage of the nice weather too and went to the park.  Up here it was pretty windy though so although it was warmer it felt pretty chilly.  Nonetheless they had a blast running around outside.  Stir crazy does not begin to describe how we were feeling.

I have been meaning to ask you-I know your J is a pretty big boy and my J is big too-off the charts- 34 pounds at age two (anthony is only 35) and in size 3T tops 2T bottoms.  Do you find that Jackson ever leveled out a bit or was he always pretty much in been consistent in being big? (not sure if I am wording this the best way). I just can't imagine how he can continue to keep growing at the rate he seems to be.

  • He occasionally levels out and is in the same size for awhile, but then he shoots up with a growth spurt or gains a few pounds.  But yes, consistently big.

Although, at his 3 year appointment he was only in the 85thish percentile as opposed to the 90th-97th like he had been, so I guess the answer is yes.  He does always seem big compared to other kids though.  At least to me.

Right now he's 36-37lbs, but has been that way for awhile - he probably gained 2 or so lbs the year he was 2.  The thing that really keeps him looking big is how tall he is.  I'm pretty sure he was around 34lbs @ 2.

It must be the name - Jacksons are just big boys.  :)  Right now he is in 3T tops and 4T bottoms.  But I have started buying some 4T tops.  His legs are really long, though, which is what usually pushes us to the next size.

  • Thanks!  I often wonder how I am going to carry him sometimes b/c he is getting so heavy.  That makes a lot of sense.  I am sure he will shoot up a bit (although I will be sad to see those thunder thighs I love so much thin out-lol)  I think your right-Jacksons are big boys!  I am waiting for the day for him to tower over Anthony b/c I think it will.  It will make for an interesting dynamic.
