No More Bottles!!!!!!!

It was great. I got NUBY sippy cups that look like a bottle/water bottle. I told DD it was a "Big Girl Baba" and she loved the idea of that. No bottles since Thursday.

Now for the Nuks - I might wait a bit on that one.

That is awseome!!  We just recently gave up the bottles too....and for Nuby sippy cups also!!  Those things are great   Good job!!!  Isn't it a great feeling?!

Those are the ones I used to wean off the bottle too! Congrats...but beware because my little guy figured out he could push the nipple/silicone part in and it leaked everywhere. We are now onto Playtex Twist - n Click sippys that dont leak no matter what you do

my first one was so easy to transition to a cup but #2 doesn't want anything to do with it...she wants her "gilk" in a "ba."  Wish me luck!

I am still dealing with the baba, she won't give it up. She will suck on a empty bottle all day if you let her. I have tried several different cups, and she will drink from them after a major melt down that makes me look like the bad guy. I don't know what to do. But congrats to you, that is wonderful. I am praying that Alaina will let hers go soon.

Congrats!

We put away the bottles the day after DS turned one.  We had a struggle, but we never brought the bottles back out.

We have over 8 different sippy cups.  He took to the Nuby soft top/transition ones first.  Now, he prefers the hard top cheapo - non-brand ones (maybe .99 each?)  - go figure.

We'll keep the pricey ones for #2, just in case....but damn, if they didn't all end up being a waste of money.
