Pregnant after a Loss

Swollen hands and feet

So, my hands are usually a little swollen in the morning and my feet don't usually swell up until the afternoon.  Well, I get up this morning and everything is swollen.  Anyone have any tricks that work for them to get the swelling down?

  • I have no tips but would love some. My wedding band is solidly stuck on my hand :(

  • Up your protein and water intake...trust me, it works.  Try to have a little protein every hour or two today (slice of cheese, nuts, egg, cottage cheese) and drink half your body weight in oz in water.

I will try the protein.  And drinking half my body weight in water...right now not sure there is enough water in the world to do that.  Lets just say I've become a big girl lately. Wink

  • I drink over a gallon of water a day, which is the closest to telling you my weight you are getting.  Choose a glass, measure how much it holds, and then keep a tick list of how many glasses you consumer, or use a water bottle.  Just think in terms of, I need to have 10 glasses of water in this glass today or 6 of these water bottles or whatever.

Thanks, Tex.  I am a pro at warding off swelling - got to keep those blood protein levels up.
