I seriously almost punched out my FIL tonight

So this was the first time people have seen me since I got pregnant. My FIL is king of the inappropriate, douche-ganoosh comments. he's an embarrassment that we've learned to deal with.

Anyway, he said something about telling my boss and I said I didn't want to formally announce until after our big u/s to make sure everything is ok. He then said "If she doesn't know yet, she must be a stupid lawyer, your belly is fat and your ass is fat" 

 

He then made about three more fat ass comments in less than a minute before I said "Dude, if you make one more ass comment, we're really going to have a problem". (DH wasn't in the room at the time and walked in on the tail end of the conversation and stuck up for me, in case you wondered)

Good gravy, I can't wait til this guy dies.

He has NO filter at all. I've become used to him and usually tune him out. I wouldn't have said anything had he left it to one comment, but I will not sit through a tirade of "my ass is fat" comments. No way.

no, he's not thin at all. He looks like he's 9 months pregnant. DH and I already caused some drama earlier in the day so I didn't want to ruin the entire evening. lolol.

Sounds like a gem. My FIL was rude when we were in Mexico when I was 14 weeks and made a comment about everything I put in my mouth. It sucked so I feel your pain.

Wow do we have the same FIL?! Mine is an ass too and would probabaly say something simliar. I'm sorry that you have to deal with someone like that in your life.
