1-day AF?

WTF? I started light flow yesterday afternoon, have used few tampons (and only "filled" one), and the last one needed some internal help to come out because it was so dry - barely any blood on it, and it had been 3 hours. What on earth would cause this? Surely I have more lining to shed. I usually have light flow for 2-3 days, but this is ridiculous.
