DH, DS, and I were going grocery shopping and there's a circle right off our street. No one ever yields when entering the circle, so you always have to be on the defensive.
Today, DH was driving in the inside lane, so there was nowhere for us to go, and a guy drove right into the circle without yielding and got into the inside lane AKA drove right into us because we were already there.
He was about to leave the scene, but another car blocked him in and forced him to pull over. Thank God.
I was so scared that Ry was ok, but I checked him as soon as I got out and I heard the guy yelling at DH "what the hell were you doing??" Um...he was driving in his lane, stupid.
I pulled my head out of the car and yelled back at him, "what the hell were you doing??? You were supposed to yield before merging into the circle and you drove right in! Our son is in the car, and you had better hope to holy hell that he is fine!" He shut up after that, and when the police came he didn't contest what we told them.
Stupid fvck.
DH and I have a little whiplash, but we see a chiropractor every week so we're not worried. Ry was absolutely ok. I was so scared for him today, even though the accident was small. That's been my worst fear since he was born.
Re: We were all just in an accident :-(
That would be awesome!
Glad you guys are ok!!

He's the single greatest thing I've done in my life and reminds me daily of how fun (and funny) life can be. He's turned out pretty swell for having such a heartless and evil mother.
Thanks, ladies. :-)
We have back pain, but we go to the chiro anyway so no worries. Geico inspects the carseat when they do the car inspection and if it's damaged they buy a new one of the same model. Good thing too, because our carseat was pretty expensive!
I'm so glad it wasn't worse. I would be in jail for murder. I think that dude was death in my eyes and that's why he shut his mouth.

OMG thats' terrible, glad everyone is mostly ok.
What an ASSS!
That is terrible. I'm so glad it wasn't worse.
I didn't read through the posts so I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but I think your insurance will replace the car seat.

Yep, same thing. No one knows how to drive in them!
I'm glad you're all o.k. I hope you "casually" mentioned to the officer how he was trying to leave the scene.
This! So glad you guys are ok. What a douche.

Let's try this again...
DH did. He's my hero! She slipped it in so easily that it was barely noticeable, and the guy just looked shocked. lol
He goes every time. :-) He doesn't like it much, but it's good for his nervous system and that's what counts. It's definitely improved his napping. He was never a very fussy little guy, but I know it's helping him a lot.
i hate those circles! we have one by our house too so i have to go through it alot and we've been *almost* hit a few times. i don't understand other drivers when they just whiz through them like your not there???
thank god everyone is ok.
