Update (since January)

I've been gone for about a month and a half now. I'm sorry if I worried anyone, I would have been on here sooner but I haven't had any internet access until now (I was going crazy, believe me), and I didnt have anyone's contact information so I couldnt get any news out that way either.

If I remember correctly I havent posted since I had to go to the ER for the second time in a week. Everything's fine now but there was a misdiagnosis of a yeast infection when it really WAS an allergic reaction to the antibiotics, and then I wound up being allergic to the medicine they put me on for the "yeast infection" as well. The pharmacist told me to stop using the monistat, and to finish the antibiotic, but take it with benadryl. I was fine within a few days.

Everything has been going well since then. My family now knows, and I'm signed up with WIC and Medical Assistance. I got my records from the clinic I had been going to, and should be getting my medical cards in the mail next week. When I get them, I can make an appointment with an OB (as quickly as possible... I'm 32w4d today.)

My Dental coverage already kicked in, so I got to see the dentist two days ago for the first time since I can remember. I have to go back in 2 weeks to check on things. I need Dental X-Rays done, and it cant be put off until after because my coverage expires after the baby is born.

My GD test results were fine, and I got my Rhogam shot. The only crummy thing about my recent labs were... exactly what I thought the problem would be: I'm anemic, again.

My moods have been really good lately, and my anxiety has calmed WAY down. I've been talking to people on the phone, and I've learned that as long as I write down what I need to ask about before and refer to the notes, I do fine. Up until a few weeks ago I would avoid making phone calls to people other than family members, entirely, but I'm doing really good now.

Everything finally feels like its coming together.

 

P.S. Still dont know Boy or Girl yet. Hoping I can get an u/s when I see the new OB. With all the craziness thats been going on these past 7 months, I think I may have a chance.

You definitely have been busy! Glad you are getting things done and I hope you get to see your LO soon! Maybe you should stick it out and stay Team Green, that would be cool! But if you are impatient like me then I understand the need to know!
