Ham and beans and man is it good! I just tried some because I have to work tonight and so I thought I would have a small bowl and OMG! I am in heaven right now! This is how we make it.....

 

We make a really big ham sometime during the week for dinner and used the left over ham and save all the Juice from the ham.

Then later on in the week we will make it with Northernbeans.

We put the ham in the crockpot all chunked up

Then add All the Juice that we saved from the ham

Then add the precooked beans and then let it cook for a couple of hours! This is one of my favorit dishes and I did not start liking Ham and Beans till I was like 21 lol. I hated them growing up!

DH would love something like that.

We're grilling steaks and having baked potatoes and maybe asparagus if DH gets it at the grocery store.  Tomorrow we're going to the Irish Festival so I figured we should do our nice dinner tonight.  Plus we're both home on a Saturday and that's rare around here.
