Bad news: DH was put on furlough

Good news:  It's only for a week.  It sort of comes with the business (he's a commercial/industrial electrician).  When projects end, sometimes there is a lapse in time before the next project begins. 

Financially, it's not a big deal.  Secretly, I'm sort of excited that he will be home all week so he can stain the deck and possibly stain the patio.  We have some additional landscaping out front that we're in the middle of so hopefully he can get that finished.  I'm going to put him to work.

I just wish I had the week off with him!  Just trying to look at things in a positive light...

I'm sorry to hear that.  My dad was an iron worker and he had down time between jobs sometimes too.  At least you know the definitive end and you'll keep him busy!
