I'm out of testing strips for my glucose monitor and they said I can't refill until Monday so we either pay out of pocket or I skip two days of testing.
I don't ever use extra strips--- just 4 a day like I'm supposed to do and now I'm completely out. How have they calculated that I still have two days before I can refill? Of course their customer service is closed on the weekends and I need the strips now so we're just going to pay the $54 for the strips. So much bull cr@p.
My prescription says Use as Directed so I don't get why they wouldn't refill and pay for it. What if I was told to test after snacks or before meals because of issues. I would run out even sooner.
ETA: It's been 40 days since the original prescription and I've been given 37 days worth of strips. The only reason I was able to go over by 3 days is because my monitor came with a box of 10 in it.
Nevermind it was Wal-Marts screw up. My husband spent like 1 1/2 hours waiting for them to figure out that they entered the prescription wrong. They didn't apologize or anything, but at least we didn't have to pay out of pocket.
