using blankets?

The babies are still swaddled at night but during the day we started making them nap in their cribs instead of in their swing/glidder.  Before we would let them cuddle with their little blankets during the day because we had eyes on them at all times but now I am afraid to where they are upstairs.  So, when did you let your LO's start using blankets in bed?

I let mine use them from the beginning but only the crochetted blankets becuase if it got over their face they could still breath through the holes.

At about 18 months. Once Linus got his head stuck in a sleep sack and it freaked me out about anything in their cribs like that.

We still use sleepsacs but at a year we added a small blanket to their cribs and the just use them for snuggling.

We gave them small taggie blankets in their cribs starting at 9m. (When we stopped swaddling at 6m, we transitioned to sleep sacks and they're still in those for naps and nighttime.)
