Update on my brother

Thank you for the T&P's yesterday. It looks like his whole hand is going to be okay, but his pinky finger is still questionable. It was actually severed in the accident and reattached, but still wasn't getting blood flow as of yesterday afternoon. He was supposed to meet with the surgeon again this morning and if they didn't see an improvement, they are going to need to amputate it. My poor bro is happy to not be losing his hand, but really doesn't want to lose his finger either. So, if you have a few more T&P's to share for my bro that would be nice. Thank you.

That's great news!  My aunt had her pinky finger reattached years ago due to the same type of accident.  It never actually worked again anyway...she would have been better off if they had amputated.  As bad as it seems now, he could very well be better off in the long run.  Hopefully it works out how he would like it to.

Jesus. Poor guy. Thank God he wont lose his hand. And not that this makes him feel any better, but you can totally function without your pinky and hardly notice.
