    I started putting DD in the back carry a little before she turned a year old.  I probably could have done it sooner but I wasn't too confident about my ability to put her on my back without dropping her Huh?

    when ever you can do it safely, it seriously takes practice! I think Logan was around 8/9 months.

    It does come in handy, he was so clingy tonight so i cooked dinner with him on my back. he loved it!

    I've just started doing it at 7months.  Celyn taught me how to do it at the Demo and I feel much more confident now.  She taught me to start on the hip and then bounce her around to the back.

    Maybe there is a youtube video that you can look at for the technique. i have not done it yet but DD is so small we still use the insert.
