Sufferers is a hard word to say. Anyway.
Dry skin. I have tried all of the lotions in the entire world. The one and only thing that helps me is using baby oil in the shower. When you're finished showering and are still wet, rub baby oil allllll over. Not too much, you don't want to be too slippery :-) Then pat dry as normal and lotion as normal. Aveeno intense relief repair cream is the best.
For hair... I've tried head and shoulders, but it wasn't cutting it. So I tried neutrogena t-gel and it works WONDERS. Once or twice a week really helps. I also use John Frieda root awakening conditioner. Perfect.
Hope this helps :-)
Re: Buck! And other dry skin sufferers
mmmmmmm tw in baby oil
::drools::
::giggles::
That is my exact skin routine (down to the type of lotion and everything). It really does work miracles.
I haven't found anything for my scalp yet, so I think I'm going to try this Neutrogena stuff. I feel like people will think I have bugs or something because I scratch at my scalp all day long in the winter. Ugh. You just use it a couple times a week and use regular shampoo in between?
I totally forgot about baby oil. I used to use this years ago but haven't had dry skin since highschool.
THANKS! Doesn't neutrogena make an oil shower rinse stuff? I seem to remember that..but I could be wrong.
Yep! I really like the john frieda conditioner. I found it on sale at Target. It's wonderful with the t-gel stinky shampoo.
i have these random dry 'spots' on my arms only. its so odd.
i went to the doc. and got a creme. and it works fine for me.
My hands are the worse.
I will rub oil on you if you rub it on me. sweet.
Ohhh yes. Baby oil. Works great.
Quick tip: I put my baby oil in a little spray bottle. Makes it easier. For me anyway.
