Pregnant after a Loss

What do you take for colds?

I have a cold coming on and my throat is sore, stuffy nose, what kind of cough drops do you / can you take?

Halls? Fishermen's Friend? Strepsils?

  • Cepacol cough drops are safe, and I believe some forms of Robitussin.

  • I don't usually use cough drops, but when I had a cold last week I used Tylenol Cold.
  • anyone know anything preventative?  DH is really sick right now.  other than spraying lysol after he touches anything (which makes me feel less than compassionate) and washing my hands a lot, i haven't been doing anything.  i usually take echinacea (which i know is a no-no) or zicam spray, which i've read conflicting info on.  anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks. It's not so bad, it just sucks to get sick. I have an OB appointment on Tuesday so if I'm still sick than, I'll ask what I can take that I can get over here.
