Check your local consignment stores. I was surfing Craigs List and saw an add in the baby section about a local store having a sale on them. They are a supplier and offered a steep discount on them and they were the newest version brand new. They also had some gently used ones, and they used one of those for me to try out with DS while walking around shopping to make sure I/We liked it.
CL also has some gently used ones for sale and the person selling it might let you try it on. GL! I absolutely love my Ergo.
The ergo website has a store locator. There's only one store near me that sells them, and I went there to look (since I wanted to see one in person before I 100% decided to buy one), but will probably buy mine online at diapers.com when the time comes. Free overnight shipping? Can't get better than that!
