With #1 I was hardly ever sick and didn't really have any symptoms until later in pregnancy. With #2 on the way, I am sick everyday and have other not so nice symptoms. I was wondering if you felt the same if it meant the opposite sex for you this time around.
I suffered from terrible headaches almost every day in my first tri with #2 - something that I didn't have at all with #1. I thought for sure it meant it was a girl, but it wasn't. If it makes any difference, I had terrible morning sickness with both of them - it was just the headaches that were different.

Almost no m/s with my first once we lost his twin.
#2 = sick all the freaking time.
#3 = even sicker than that.
For me m/s just got worse with each subsequent pregnancy.
And.... I know 2 of the 3 were boys.
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
My pregnancies have been completely different and I have a boy and a girl.
DS- perfect easy preg., never any m/s, felt great the entire time
DD- sick from the beginning, much more moody, hormonal, and difficult, lol
Ditto this for me! Except it changed towards the end - I ended up miserable and swollen with DS and had a rough delivery. With DD I went 6 days late and was still feeling great and I had a super easy delivery.
It did for us...with my first (DD) I was just a little queasy and tired until 12 weeks, then i felt great. Now, with #2 (DS) I threw up terribly until 22 weeks!! And was so exhausted I could barely function. I feel great now at 30 weeks
Yes it was different for me, but that being said as you see here, sometimes pregnancies are just different even if the kids are the same sex....2 friends with 2 boys each had completely different pregnancies and both were convinced the second time it was a girl.
WIth my ds I was sick the first trimester and bleeding but 2nd and 3rd trimester were great. With dd now I have been having every symptom in the book including very bad back pain and hot flashes from beginning to end! But my dr. says every pregnancy is different.
My pregnancy with DD has been completely different than either of my DSs. I've carried her different, felt different, gained differently, craved different things.
m/c feb 07 ~ m/c twins oct 08 ~ Duncan Thomas: born to heaven 5/19/09 - m/c jan 11
My pregnancies have been almost identical, and I'll have one of each. My pregnancies have been easy--never sick, slight aversion to meat in the beginning. Only differences are I showed sooner with this one, carry lower, and am more exhausted, but I'm sure that's from chasing DS around all day.
Re: Did different pregnancy symptoms with #2 indicate opposite sex for you?
It did for me!
With DD - i was queasy and tired until the 2nd trimester.
With DS - i was sick almost everyday until 17 weeks
Also carried different.

DD 8.01.13
Nope. With #1 my pregnancy was very easy, with #2 i was throwing up and nauseated daily. I thought for sure that meant i was going to have a boy.
I have 2 girls. Sorry!
I asked this same question when I was pregnant
