belle204...dear sweet belle204

I might be a resident of Huntsvegas within the next year.  You think y'all are ready for me?  lol

  • Sweet. For reals? I would love having a friend close by!

  • Yeah...I'm getting sick of this place.

Huntsville seems like it has SO much more to offer than here.  Much bigger city which suits me just fine and more diversity, more opportunities for work, my friend (that you met at Chuck E Cheese) is there, and I think I just need a fresh start.

But...I'm not 100% sure yet.  Its on my very short list of places to go.

  • Maybe I'm just jaded b/c I've lived here so long b/c I don't see many great things about it and find the opportunities limited. I guess it depends on what you want though. For my (coughlaughcough) career interests it's lacking. I'd move in a heartbeat given the right chance. But, all in all, it's a good place for families & is so close to lots of cities --- Atlanta, Nashville, Bham, Chattanooga (so need to get back to the aquarium) so it's easy to do things if you have time. I'm sure A would love to get to play with IG.

  • I think, for me, its maybe the novelty of it being so different than here.  I compare it to Baton Rouge...only prettier and safer.  I remember in June when almost the entire city was without power and S (my friend) and I drove along a mountain to find a Walmart that was open.  I don't remember what the area was called but it was so beautiful!  And then she lives in an area that I find gorgeous as well.  Idk...I just like it.  And it would be nice to hang out with you and A!  And yeah....with Nashville being so close, I'd be going to LOTS of concerts!
  • You were probably out around Hampton Cove or Monte Sano Mountain. It's gorgeous up there. It's a city that's fast & slow-paced all at the same time so it appeals to people. I think it would be leaps and bound above where you are now in terms of opps. But the only real imp thing is that 8'm here! You still have to see my house. :-)

  • Yes!

Hampton Cove was where we went the 2nd day.  We were trying to find a turkey fryer for S to boil crawfish in...lol.

     And the mountain is beautiful!

I need to call her and see when she wants company and I will certainly come see you and your house and your cute kid!

I can't bring my kidlets though.  Her house isn't kid friendly and I kinda like having her basement all to myself when I stay there ;-)
