I decided to cut one open before bath tonight, and it was filled with mold. Needless to say they all got tossed. We would disinfect them with warm water and bleach and squeeze them out after bath too. NASTY!
you know, we stopped using toys a while ago. It was just not worth it. we just bring in a toy or two and put them in the dishwater before we go to bed.
a washcloth is a toy to DS, a piece of old tupperware, a few plastic cups. have the time he just wants to 'swim'. sometimes we buy this cool 'foam' soap and that keeps his interest...
we don't have anything that water can get in to....only foam letters and cup-like toys.....I saw a rubber ducky getting black inside a couple years ago (showed thru the yellow) and immediately got rid of all the squirter-type toys.

This! Plus I also put in the foam alphabet because it doesn't get moldy - and if it did, it is easy to clean because there is no inside for water to get stuck in.
In my bag: Nikon D90; 35mm 1.8, 90mm 2.8 macro (my fave), Lensbaby Composer with macro extensions. BFP after 13 cycles and one ectopic. Lost left tube 5/19/10.
