If DC has recently had the stomach bug

Please tell me all about it.  DD has had 2 really bad bouts of diarrhea today and it is going around her daycare.  So I am wondering what to expect from her.  Is it just that if so I can handle that no problem but throwing up not so much.  Thank ladies

  • The boys had it both ends.  It lasted about 2 days for each.  101.6 was the highest fever they had.

  • I had it, my mom had it, and DD had it.

DD threw up every half hour for about 3-3.5 hours, then that was it. She has had borderline diarrhea for the last 3 days, but otherwise seems unscathed.

It was fast, I'll say that.

  • Grace started vomitting on Sunday night at 6pm she vomitted a few times an hour until midnight and then slept through the night, she vomitted a few times on Monday and had a low grade fever never over 100.7. Yesterday she slept a majority of the day. She had diarrhea this morning and still hasnt had any real solid food. We are just watching her fluid intake and making sure she has a few wet diapers a day. She seems to be back to normal tonight.

Reid started vomitting at 1am on Monday morning and vomitted a few times that day. He had diarrhea a few times yesterday and had a fever on Monday of 102- 103. He was back to normal yesterday afternoon.

    Good Luck!

Luckily, my husband and I did not get it we both did get low grade fevers and were very tired and achey though.

DD was puking up everything she ate for 3 days & then only occasionally on days 4 & 5.  On Day 3 the diarrhea started too and lasted another 4 days.  So, it was a week before she went back to daycare.  She had a low-grade fever the entire time, on Day 2 it got as high as 100.7.
