Anyone been to Daffodil Hill ?

I want to take Darrian there to get some pictures of him, or at least try. Has anyone been?

Is there a "best" time to go?

I haven't, but our photographer does sessions there often.  I believe there were some scheduled for a couple of weeks ago.  I would imagine that the flowers must be in bloom.  She gets great pics there every year.  Be sure to share pics of your cute little guy when you go.

I've been wanting to go too. I believe pp's are right, now is the time they are in bloom. Let me know if you find out more info.

Where is it?  On the Penninsula, the daffodils on 280 are in bloom and have been for weeks.

Looks like there are two of them, one in Livermore and a bigger one in Jackson. I googled and the websites said mid-March to about April is the prime time. Hope it stops raining so we can go.

We went to the one in Jackson at the end of March last year and it was PERFECT!! The blooms were amazing. They are higher elevation so I think it will be a couple more weeks before thinks are as in bloom as in Sacramento.

Also, for photos, the lighting when they first open is terrible! We were there at 11ish and it was tough to get good photos. This year I'll be trying to time it to sunset-ish time.

My friend lives near the one in Livermore and she said that it is in bloom now.  She wanted to go the other weekend and take some pictures but it was raining off and on.
