DD birthday is coming up and I am thinking of getting her a Disney princess dress up outfit. I am just not sure how much she will play with it. She will be 3, any other 3 year old girls who like their costumes? Thanks!
Mine wears hers all the time! My mom bought her first one and still says it's the best money she's ever spent, the thing is almost in rags from being worn so often. Definitely get some shoes, she's crazy about the shoes!
Both my 3 yr old nieces are ga-ga for dress up. Anything pink & sparkly goes over well with them.
My own 2 yr old is already starting into this too. We have a feather boa & a sparkly fairy skirt that she tromps around the house wearing.
If you don't want to spend teh $$ on a Disney outfit you can get a lot of cute things at Target & Toys R Us. And if you have time, JC Pennys carries costumes. I got tons of fun things for my niece there and it was cheap so I could buy lots!
My DD plays dress up almost every day! The dresses, shoes, crowns, butterfly/fairy wings, wands, jewelry, etc. are such a hit in my house!!! Every time we are in Target or ToysRUs, she begs me to buy her something new for her dress up trunk!!
ETA: WalMart carries a line called Cutie Boutique (I think that's what it's called) and it's pretty decent priced stuff with a lot of selection!
Carter's has some cute dress-up/jammies. I just picked up a pair of pink ones with ballet shoes and a tutu. They also had blue with a princess castle and tutu. Not bad for double duty.

Thanks ladies! I decided to get a whole outfit from toys r us and see how she likes it. If she plays with it I am going to get her a Disney princess outfit, because how cute are those!?
Re: Princess dress up
My DD uses her Cinderella dress up costume all the time, along with the tiara, shoes and handbag. She's obsessed with all things Princess.
Edited to add: She's 4.
