Alternative to decals

Decals wont work on our walls since we have textured walls, at least DH says they wont work.  BUT I love the idea of quotes or a Name over LO's crib.  DH wont let me hang anything, he has this fear that anything hanging over a bed will fall....WE cannot have anything over our bed either.  Do they make quote or name stencils or something that would make it easy to do a quote or name?  Other ideas?

Borrow or rent an overhead projector and paint it on.  That's what we're doing.

I think you can buy stencil letters.  I'm not sure how much they cost, though.

This is what I've heard as well

You could go get regular stencils and paint one on your wall yourself! You could also get a projector and trace whatever quote you want on the wall and then paint it.

Try a craft store. Some stores may even make the stencils for you. Good Luck!

What texture are your walls? Ours are an "orange peel" texture and the wall quotes work perfectly fine. Just a thought.
