High-Risk Pregnancy

Long Island doctor recommendation?

I know it may be a long shot, but can anyone recommend a high risk OB? I am not pregnant, but I have been diagnosed with a blood clotting disorder and I want to see a high risk OB and make some decisions first.?

I keep hearing great things about Dr. Kof.inas, but he does not take my insurance. I am thinking of switching to DH's insurance possibly, but it will be more expensive. I have G H I.

Good luck to you all!?

  • Funny- I go to Dr. Kessler too.  Hutson and Kessler are both excellent (same practice).  Dr. Hutson just did my amnio yesterday.

I do know some doctors on LI if you don't want to travel to the city.  Are you in Nassau or Suffolk?  It would just help to have an idea of what area you are willing to travel to- obviously if you're in Roslyn, you don't want to travel to the Hamptoms!

Hi, I am located in Nassau on the South Shore, in Merr.ick. I work in Queens, so I travel through Nassau. I don't mind traveling too much to a good doctor. Any recommendations would be GREAT. Thank you so much and GL to you!! :)
