I will love having either a boy or a girl, but lately I feel like I have so many creative ideas if I had a girl that just won't work with a boy.
For example... Just today I was thinking about what I should do with my wedding dress. I loved it, it's beautiful, and there is so much sentimental value to it. So, I thought since the top layer is super soft and sheer, with a beautiful floral print, I'd have it made into a baby blanket for my baby. Then suddenly I realized that I don't know what I'm having, and my beautiful baby blanket idea simply won't work for a little boy! lol...
I've always been quite the girlie girl, and grew up with 7 (yes, 7) older sisters. Even though I'll be super excited for a boy just as much as a girl, a part of me wonders if I'd even know what to do with a boy!
No point to this story I guess... just random thoughts... nevermind me!
Re: I need to have a girl.
Don't know yet... I have an appt on Thursday, and the dr. said we'd schedule the big u/s about 2 weeks after that, so sometime soon at least!
I was going to say this. There is a girl on 12-24 board that did that with her sons and it is beautiful!
completely natural! I felt the same way until our NT scan when the tech said....well you have one prominent little fella on your hands and I absolutely fell in love with Mason! You're not alone..just start preparing yourself either way; I have a friend who literally almost went into depression when she found out she was having a boy!
This is what we are doing with my wedding dress as well. I just think it is such a neat idea.
I plan on doing this, but it will be a baby dedication outfit.
