2nd Trimester

Anyone else JUST start working out?

I just started working out today... walking on the treadmill and stretching.  I will add some light dumb bells soon for my arms as well.  Anyone else JUST start working out?  I feel bad that I haven't been working out the whole pregnancy but I guess it's better late than never, right?  =p 

*I feel like I finally "popped" which is probably why I just started working out.  haha

  • I am trying to start. I feel pretty bad too, and on top of that I feel like a real fatty. Everytime i go to the drs. I close my eyes at weigh in because I dont' want to see how much weight I'm gaining. I'm goin to start today.

  • I started back this week.   I only had been to the gym 2x's since I found out I was pregnant.   I finally feel well enough to get back into it.  The nice weather has something to do w/ it for me too I am sure.

  • I did squats one day and did the yoga on the wii fit the same day. I am majorly slacking and have been considering getting back into working out.
  • I've already gained a lot and I haven't been working out. I'm waiting for warmer weather when DH and I can get out and go walking. I should be able to start soon!
  • I started yesterday. I exercised before pg but just stopped once we found out. My thighs have never been this jiggly, EVER. I tried doing my prenatal pilates tape before work this morning and could literally only do like 15 min and I was dying! I'm just gonna keep trying to a lil everyday and hopefully won't be quite so outta shape by the time he gets here.

  • I've been working out a bit through the pg but not much at all.  I go in spurts it seems like.  Although yesterday I was on the elliptical in the first time in probably 2 weeks and thought I'm not sure how much longer I can do this because my belly is too big.  It was close to hitting my legs!  Might just need to do more walking...

  • I went to the gym about a week ago but I don't think I'm quite over the first trimester exhaustion yet.. I did a moderate-intensity workout for like 45 minutes and felt dead for the rest of the week.

    We live about 15 minutes from Lake Michigan so it'll be nice when the weather gets a bit warmer.. husband and I can go walk by the lake. :)

  • Uhhgg I'm 24 weeks today & haven't lifted a finger this whole pregnancy... eek! ? I was very active until I found out I was pg. ?I'm about 7 lbs over what I should be right now & I get very winded going up stairs now so I'm going to have to start something. ?I'm so glad it's starting to warm up, I want to go for walks

  • You guys are making me feel a lot better. I'm 24 weeks, and I feel so out of shape. I was a beginning runner before the bfp, and but have done almost nothing since then.  I'm going to do my prenatal workout dvd this evening!!

  • I just went back to my yoga class last week and boy am I sore.

    I didn't stop because of BFP (though I did stop running then since I was exhausted), but because H tore his Achilles and literally couldn't make himself dinner while I went to class. Now that he's walking, I'm trying to do class 2x a week.

  • I've been off and on. I did really well until week 6 and then m/s took over and I was SO sick. I started again a few weeks ago. Trying for 3-4 times a week...
