...for drinking well within the daily limit of caffeine? I had a latte this morning, and now I'm having a diet coke, and that's still only 150 mgs of caffeine, but I still have a twinge of guilt. The little guy is having his own dance party in there right now, but MAMA NEEDS HER CAFFEINE!!! Especially when hubs is tossing & turning sick all night and cat has some kind of respiratory infection and had sneeze fits all night EQUAL no sleep for a weary mama.
Anyone else feel guilty for doing totally normal/accepted/medically CLEARED things?
Re: Why do I feel guilty...
I feel guilty when I have just one cup of caffeinated tea
which I know is ridiculous. I lost my taste for coffee when I got pregnant, so it hasn't been that hard for me. And I *loved* coffee prior to pregnancy.

This!
Totally irrational, but I still let it get to me.
Here's a good article about caffeine and pregnancy: https://www.americanpregnancy.org/pregnancyhealth/caffeine.html
To the PP, I think it counts as water.
I feel guilty when I drink it while LO is sleeping...
I think we feel guilty because every random person on the street has an idea of what a pregnant woman should or shouldn't have. There are so many differing opinions out there that at any given time, at least one of them is going to tell you that what you're doing is "bad," even if it's not.
