DH just forwarded me an e-mail from his CW today. After an almost 4 year wait, they just got their match to a little girl in China.

We are so thrilled for them. They used our agency for their HS, and recommended them to us.

That's wonderful!  I just read in Adoptive Families magazine that the wait time for China until you are matched is up to 6 years now.  I'm so glad it didn't take that long for them.  We had met people at our agency that were waiting for 5 years.  Such a long long wait.

My DH's coworker has just hit the 4 year mark for China too. ?I hope its around the corner for them too. ?Congrats! ?Happy knitting!

I can't imagine waiting that long.  We are heading into our second year of the whole process (5 months wait so far), and the thought of another year or more makes me shutter.

Congratulations to the happy couple!  When will they get to meet her?

Not sure, but they're going to China to meet her and bring her home. Getting details from my DH isn't always easy
