What do hiccups feel like?

So sometimes I will feel this "kicking" sensation right below my belly button, it is actually the first and only movement that I really feel and I have thought that it was some sort of kicking, but when I went to my big u/s yesterday i remembered that the ultrasound tech had pointed out that the baby was hiccuping , and I was just thinking maybe what I am feeling is the hiccups because they do tend to be pretty rythmic. Anyone feeling this? is it hiccups or kicking???

Yes... almost like a bunch of small kicks.

It feels like gentle kicks, but they are consistant times apart. When I first felt the baby having hiccups they lasted about two minutes and were about 3-4 seconds apart. That's how I knew that was what they were!  Other kicking is moving is random and you can't really time it.

This. I felt the hiccups yesterday and they were very consistent.
