Ok...we currently use the ventaire by playtex and like them quite a bit except EJ is starting to have trouble when he is tired and eating...he cant seem to get good suction and it rolls around in his mouth, then he gets frustrated and upset...
Anyone use a different nipple shape for their bottles? I have been looking at the nuk and the momo...
Anyone have any experience with them?
Did a different shape nipple help any of your babies with the "latch"?
Re: Bottles - Did you try...
We started with Avent after the SNS system, tried a cheaper option but the nipple wasn't big enough, so we stuck with Avent.
thankfully rosie isn't a picky baby when it comes to bottles - she likes the avent ones, the nuk ones and the playtex drop-ins. we used the playtex drop-ins when we made the change from mom to bottle b/c the nipple on the bottle most resembled mom and the way that the drop-in collapsed was most like the breast. we still use them for her nighttime bottle but during the day she's an avent/nuk/gerber baby.
oh and avent's bottles are designed to reduce air intake which in turn reduces gas/colic/fussiness.
