And I'm in love!!! If you are considering this stroller I totally recommend it! We bought the 2009 model since they are on sale. I put DD in there to test it out and she loved it. Now I can't wait for Konnor to get here so we can use it.
Isn't it great? I love ours too, can't wait to use it a bit more! Which color did you go with? I was really torn but chose the Ruby in the end, I loved our Koa (brown) single as well but needed to girl it up a bit.

Do you find that you can't let the kids put their feet completely down??? I tried it in the store and the foot stand is so high up in the air, I can't imagine a kid being able to sit with his/her feet straight down! It is permanently reclined...
I think that's the one we're going with, but I can't find it in stores anywhere around here to test it out. And I don't want to order a $550 stroller blind, ya know!

I bought it from fawnandforest.com. I couldn't find it anywhere in stores either so I bought it blind, but I have no regrets. The foot rest is a little weird, but my DD likes having her legs up and something to push her feet against so it doesn't really matter. DH is pretty impressed with the stroller as well. He was not happy when I told him I was buying a $550 stroller, but now that he sees it he is okay with it.
I love ours, as well. ?And even though we don't have the 2nd baby yet, I think it's worth the cash. ?Harrison loves going for rides and it is so easy to push! ?We went with the orange and teal and I am in love...?
I haven't tried lifting it in and out of my car because I'm on modified bedrest. It's definetly heavier then our chicco travel system stroller, but not horrible by any means.
My 2009 model has the latch to keep it closed. I think they added it after 2008 because people complained.
I did put the carseat in to see and DD still has tons of room. DH pushed her around the house with the carseat next to her, she just giggled and laughed.
Ours arrived just before DD#2 arrived so we hadn't had a chance to use it.
I was pretty nervous about it because in my living room it seemed huge and for the money I wanted to LOVE it. The official test was the mall the other day with both girls. My toddler loved it and the car seat (chicco) fit in fine. Even with all that weight it steered beautifully and I got compliments on it. Now I'm sure it was worth the money!! If anyone has questions on it being used with 2 let me know.
According to the video review on babygizmo.com (I think that's the site), you CAN jog with it. We got one, but right now it's in a box in my garage. Hoping to get it put together this weekend...can't wait!

DS - sept 2012
3 Questions because this is on our short list.
1.) It seemed like it would be so heavy? Do you find it difficult to lift in and our of the car?
2.) One review said there was no latch to keep it closed. Has this seemed to be a nuisance at all when moving it in the closed position.
3.) Did you put the car seat in it yet? I fear DS will be squashed when I have the car seat in with him.
Thanks!

It is heavy, but no more so than any other double stroller. I have no problem getting it into my (high) SUV and I just had a c/s.

No, it has a latch. My '08 single has a latch as well.

I haven't, I don't like to use that feature because it adds so much weight and bulk to the stroller.
