I have a 2008 version of Baby Bargains but have been doing some research on the Web, too. I like the look and price of the Graco Lauren crib, but I'm seeing mixed reviews. (Actually, most of the Graco cribs that Target sells fit my "vision" for our crib, but I'm just not sure about safety.) Baby Bargains seemed to love it, some users seem to think it's unsafe because of extra room around the mattress.
I'm really looking for the safest, most affordable crib, preferably in white, and I'm not really concerned if it's a convertible or a certain style. Any thoughts/suggestions?
TIA for your time and help!
ETA: We are planning to have two or three kids, so we'd like something that will last for several children, too.
Re: Crib question - Graco Lauren?
the negative reviews i read were all for the dropside version.
we have the classic version. no baby yet, but it's setup and very strudy. the matress fits very well too.

this. check out walmart.com too. they had the white classic version with free site to store shipping when i ordered - target wanted 70 bucks to ship.
However, it is soft pine wood so it might get a worn more quickly than a more expensive real wood crib. Might not last being taken down and put back together 3 or 4 times. Second however, it's so cheap if it needs to be replaced after a few years, it won't break the bank.
