Beano OK during pregnancy?

My reasons are obvious here.  It's getting out of hand, and I'm sick of trying to play with my diet.  I know Gas-X is OK to take, but that kind of requires suffering through waiting for it to kick in after the fact, as opposed to Beano which should stop the problem before it starts.

I'm calling my doctor, but has anyone already been told by their doc that it's OK to take?

I've read that it is fine in several books, but I'm asking my OB at my appt tomorrow too!!
