1) At the end of the eggplant spectrum, and only 3 fruits left to go! ahh!
2) We have his name picked out, though after yesterday's hockey game...everyone thinks we should name him Sidney or Crosby! haha Yes - it's a secret from family and IRL friends
3) We bought his crib yesterday, and need to figure out how we're getting it home! It's too big for the Jeep!
4) We have two cats, and DH was reading in WTEIT1stYr that you should put a net over the crib to prevent the cats from jumping in? Not too sure I'm okay with netting my baby in his crib! I need to look into this further.

I am almost at an eggplant!

Boy's name is Gianluca and we are torn for the girl's name... as per this mornings poll Eva and Isabella are in the runnings! Eva is my favourite! DH loves Viola (he is an english major and that is a Shakespear character)
3) Any new purchases for LO over the weekend?
A unisex ivory sleeper.
4) Do you have pets? How are you preparing them for LO's arrival?
We have a cat! After the shower we will be putting up the crib and PnP to give her a chance to get used to them. Also I think we will be playing baby crying noises to get her used to the sound.
5) Reach any milestones this weekend/reaching any this week?
Ummm... going to be 25 weeks on Thursday!
1) Not sure. Haven't checked in awhile.
2) We have a list of names. One outranks the others by far, but we aren't sharing until she is born.
3) My MIL bought 2 really adorable dresses at Macys. One white eyelet which I love and a pink gingham (sp) one.
4) Yes. Two goldens. We set up the nursury and have rules for that room for them and have been walking around with the stroller, but other than that, we haven't done too much yet.

3) Any new purchases for LO over the weekend? I got a great deal off CraigsList and got newborn cloth diapers yesterday! We didn't cloth diaper DS, and I am excited to have gotten such a great deal.
4) Do you have pets? How are you preparing them for LO's arrival? No pets.
5) Reach any milestones this weekend/reaching any this week? Last Friday I got to 24 weeks, so I believe that baby is now viable!

2. We've got two names: Eden and Matthew. We're keeping it quiet.
3. No new purchaces. Haven't bought much of anything to be honest. Though DH found an "I love Germany" shirt online on the weekend. I may have to buy it for him!
4. We have one kitty. We're just keeping her out of the nursery so she gets used to the idea of not going in there.

1. Right now we are a Papaya! You just reminded me to look lol Next is eggplant, then squash, then honey dew, then WATERMELON! Sooo exciting :-)
2. We're naming her Mikaela Shae and told family! Everyone loves it especially my dad, who she's named after! (His name is Michael)
3. No new purchases last weekend but this coming weekend Just Between Friends is in town so I'm hoping to go on Saturday!
4. We have a Maltese/Dachsund mix (Milo who's pictured below) and any chance we get to be around kids and babies in the family or friends he comes along and we show him what's ok and what's not. Also in a joking way when he stands on my belly I tell him he's crushing baby sister! Lol
5. Didn't reach any milestones but on Feb. 25th my mom felt LO kick for the first time! She was squealing she was so happy haha. My milestone coming up is LO's V-day is Thursday!!

I see no reason to keep it quiet. If people don't like it, oh well. It's not their baby.

We bought a cute pink bouncer at BRU and some new summery clothes for her. I realized we had a lot of clothes for 3-12 months but not enough newborn (though I realize they won't fit in the newborn clothes very long.)
4) Do you have pets? How are you preparing them for LO's arrival?
3 dogs. 2 beagles and a chow mutt! I am trying to keep them from sleeping in the bed (bad habit I know) and barking every time we come home. They're pretty good with kids though, once they get used to them.

3) Any new purchases for LO over the weekend? I bought her coming home outfit (or what will be her coming home outfit unless I get something cuter at a shower!)
4) Do you have pets? How are you preparing them for LO's arrival? We have a yorkie at our house, our cat lives at my mom's house. We're going ahead and getting everything set up so he can get used to it all and not sniff everything once Kylie gets here. Also, DH is going to bring home a blanket that we wrap Kylie in while she's still in the hospital so he can go ahead and get used to her scent.

We've told some friends and family, but i'm not exactly broadcasting it to the world... I love how non-popular his name is, and I would be super sad if someone jacked it with only 4 months to go!

We were SUPPOSE to go buy a crib, but DH miscalculated our arrival time and we would have gotten there too late =( Back next weekend it is.

A bird and a cat... I got a baby doll to carry around the bird, but we haven't been keeping up with it.... I really want to carry it around all day to get him accostomed to me spending more time with the doll than him (he has jealousy issues) but I'm a "bad mommy" and the baby doll is still sitting on the shelf!

Saturday is V-Day!!! Super-duper excited about that... I know anything can happen, but it makes me feel a little better knowing 24 weeks are done with.

1. Eggplant. I'm not sure how many more fruits... Probably 3 since I have three months left.

3. I couldn't resist three little onesies. And my SIL bought some decorations for the room (valance, crib skirt, sheets). We're trying to wait 'til we paint. The crib is ordered!!!
4. We have two dogs. We are trying to do little practices with them on sitting and laying down, etc on comand. Also ringing the doorbell for practice to make them be quiet. DH also downloaded a baby crying on his iPod.
5. On Sunday I'll 26 weeks 6 days -> moving over to 3rd tri next week. SO CRAZY!!!

3.) Any new purchases for LO over the weekend? I bought a frog bouncer because I love frogs (it is the baby's room theme) and I also had a coupon for 20% off at BRU. I also ordered her bedding (for the second time due to a change of heart).
4.) Do you have pets? How are you preparing them for LO's arrival? We have a sweet Tabby kitty named Specky. I don't really know how to prepare him, it isn't like he follows orders.

2) Do you have a name/names picked out? If so, are you sharing with family or keeping it quiet? We have a name we are pretty sure about, but we don't want to share just in case we change our mind. We have actually told a few people though that it will probably be the name.
3) Any new purchases for LO over the weekend? I went to the outlets and bought him a few outfits, Carters was having a good sale! My mom bought him a few outfits too.
4) Do you have pets? How are you preparing them for LO's arrival? We have two cats, we haven't really done anything yet. They lay in the babies room but don't try to go in the crib or anything.
5) Reach any milestones this weekend/reaching any this week? Getting close to 3rd trimester!
1) Hanging out at papaya for a little longer
2) Boys name is set, girls is almost set. Not telling anyone to avoid endless comments!
3) We purchased storage baskets for in the bookshelf, and not quite for the baby, but baby related, a washer-dryer combo to avoid carrying everything across the complex once the laundry loads go up with a baby!

5) 24weeks on wednesday...I cannot wait for that milestone!
1) I guess I'm a papaya based on what you other 23 weekers say... but I *think* my LO is slightly bigger because she was bigger @ her 20 week ultrasound than what they say a 20 week baby should be. I know my placenta is supposedly the size of a basketball now.
2) We have names narrowed down to a handful. Dh wants to tell family when we decide, but I'm against it. I really don't want the name commented on because it would probably tick me off. LOL... DH's dad gets on my nerves and if he said something about the name, I might say something I regret in response. The top 2 contenders right now are Madelyn Kay, and Abigail Kay. But there are some others that may make it into the top 2 still..lol
3)New purchases? Nah. The most recent things we bought were 28 jumbo refill packages of Huggies wipes, because all the CVS stores in the country accidently marked them @ $2.50 a piece! (Usually $8 a piece)... We couldn't resist that good of a deal, so DH and I went to about 8 different CVS stores and cleaned them out. LOL
4) We have no pets and I am so thankful for that! I love animals, but I am so glad I don't have that added responsibility (and pet hair!) at this stage in my life.
5) Hmm.. milestones? Umm.. OH! I was able to squeeze some colostrum out of my nipples. LOL! TMI!

1) In terms of fruit, how far along are you at this point? How many fruits left to go?? I'm an eggplant starting tomorrow (I think) and then 3 left! I try not to peek b/c it's something I look forward to! I don't like how the fruits dont' change much at the end.
2) Do you have a name/names picked out? If so, are you sharing with family or keeping it quiet? We have one name set picked out, and are still working on the second one. Even so, I'm planning on bringing the "list" to the hospital and taking a good look at them before we make it official. Family/friends don't know, except my mom and sister! I am tempted to share here though!

Wainscotting cap for the nursery! Does that count?
4) Do you have pets? How are you preparing them for LO's arrival? We have a beagle. Our vet just said to let him in the nursery so he gets used to it, and then have DH bring some babie blankets/burp cloths home with their scent and put it in the nursery and have him go in there again. Also he said to let the dogs "find the babies." Come in, put them down, and let the dog "discover" them. So nothing really in advance.
5) Reach any milestones this weekend/reaching any this week? I had my 24 week u/s last week and both girls are about 1 1/2 lbs which is really good for twins!

I personally didn't buy anything for LO this weekend but my mom did, and she does just about every weekend.

Yes, I have 2 large dogs. I haven't really done much to "prepare" them but anything we get something new for the baby we let them sniff around and fully check it out. We figured that way they're used to everything except the baby itself.

Not this weekend but Last Weds. was my V-day!

3. We bought the paint for her room and painted. I also bought the cloth drawers for the cubes, and the bedding that will coordinate with her crib bedding for the bed that is also in that room (nursery is doubling as a guest room for awhile).
4. We have 2 cats. We are letting them sniff whatever they want, and they both sit on my lap and rest their heads on my stomach sometimes, so i'm sure they know something is going on.

Yes we do, Amelia Renee. We did share with family and everybody loves it.

We bought our pack n play a couple days ago and our crib should be arriving within the week. We can't wait to start setting up her nursery.

We have a 1 year old dog. Were trying to get her used to the new furniture, we put the swing on so it doesn't frighten her and she gets to sniff everything so she's comfortable with it.

Saw my first belly kick! It was so crazy, I was starring at my tummy while she kicked and all of a sudden it moved! It was surreal to see it.
