Our boy name has two middle names and we were told by everyone that it was overkill. We're still going to use it if we have a boy. There are three people we want to honour with his name (my dad and our grandfathers) and we're not planning on having any more kids after #2.
I have a friend with 7 middle names and she turned out ok! She says it's a pain on official documents but it's not the worst thing that ever happened to her. I think 2 middle names is nothing after knowing her full name.
I have two middle names and my kids have two middle names for cultural/traditional reasons. My dad is Filipino and it is traditional for kids to have the mom's maiden name as a middle name. He and my mom wanted to do that, but they also wanted to choose one. It was never a big deal or a problem to me growing up or filling out forms - and it seems like a lot more forms have room for more than one initial/name. If not, I just choose one or leave it blank. I've never had or wanted anything monogrammed, so that wasn't an issue.
I actually did drop my mom's maiden name when I got married - b/c I wanted to keep my own maiden name as a second middle name and 3 MNs were too much for me.
But my kids have my maiden name as a second middle name, just like me.

I have two middle names and an extremely long last name. It's never been a pain. Forms are never a big deal - when asked to give my middle initial I either give the first one or hyphenate the two mn initials. It's honestly not a big deal, and I really like the flow of my name. If it's something you like, go for it and don't worry about what others think - your child will not be scarred because of it, unless, of course, you are planning to name the baby Alexander Silus Samuel - not very good initials......

I think for these three reasons, it's fine, but otherwise, no. If you're using 2 MNs, just for the sake of having 2 MNs, then no.
Also, it isn't harder on forms or anything. I have 2 MNs and it has never been a problem for me.
I've never in my life heard of people giving their children 2 middle names until I came on this board. I really don't like the idea.
