Greetings ladies!
I wanted to start a new post for any of you interested in finding creative ways of welcoming your babies into your extended families.
There may be a few of you not involved in a church/temple/synagoge or you and your spouse don't share the same religious background or traditions. How do you find a way to celebrate and introduce the baby to your extended families?
It is certainly a celebration of life, a family get together and a party. But beyond that what rituals and symbolic gestures do you and your spouse want to include?
I've created blessings for many of the interfaith couples that I have married. Yet, you do not need to have an officiant present to welcome a child into your family.
Let's talk about the creative ways you've used to welcome your child or hope to use when your child arrives!
