XP from 0-3: Is this a sling or not? PsIP

So we got this blanket/possible sling as a gift. My hubby wanted to test it out on the baby, but I insisted he try it with the cat...

The cat is enjoying every second of this, by the way...

It wasn't very secure, so I'm thinking it's either not a sling or he's not wearing it right. What do you think??

  • Looks like a sling to me. Is there any adjustments possible? If not it's a sized sling that needs to fit the adult wearer correctly (looks too big for your DH).

I was afraid of that. Ah well, it will still work as a blanket. :D

  • It looks too big. Is is stretchy? If it is, you won't be able to use it when your LO gets bigger.

BTW: We did the same exact thing with your slings before DS came, we tried all our slings out with our cats first :)

  • It looks like a too-big pouch sling, which is unfortunate, but I love these pictures. DS LOL-ed as well when he saw it. One of our poor kitties tried out a sling before DS was born but he didn't stay still long enough to get a picture. SO FUNNY.
