Subtitle fail

So I am trying to watch this russian movie and our DvD player routinely puts subtitles on (when we don't want them). For the first time when I actually WANT the subtitles to come on in english the first glimpse of subtitle is in korean? WTF DvD player?

I think it has something to do with the default settings. I've tried to press the buttons to see if I can change it but it still hates me. Oh well. It doesn't take that long to fix. Its just irritating.

This movie is slow: ??????? 

interesting tho.

This film class has a bunch of depressing movies.
