I didn't read through all of the post so this might have been mentioned or you had already planned on doing this but once Tyler falls asleep - deep sleep - on his belly can you turn him over to his back?  Maybe/hopefully he would be in such a deep sleep he wouldn't notice?

  • I haven't actually tried putting Tyler down on his belly to sleep.  I haven't decided if I'm going to, either -- I'm a little afraid to do it since he absolutely hates being on his belly when awake, and then just the general riskiness factor. 

    I've kind of decided that we are just going to have to teach him to sleep just like we'd just brought him home from the hospital.  I think we're going to have to go cold turkey from the car seat and Momma's just going to have to deal with a few sleepless nights.   :(
