GD moms- stick with it and you'll get good news like me!

Yesterday was my growth ultrasound for LO, and the news was great!  I still only have to monitor my diet, no need for meds.  LO is a little less than 6 lbs., in the 37th percentile.  She's moving like normal, practicing breathing like she's supposed to, and even has some roly poly skin, and hair!  I have more than enough amniotic fluid for her.  She's head down and set to go.  Great news is that my perinatologist says she's small enough for me to go naturally... no need (as far as yesterday's appt) for an induction!  My BP was good, and her HB was good.  It was a great relief after that appointment!  It's hard to be on this diet, but stick with it and the good news will roll in!

  • Congratulations!  Isn't it wonderful to get some reassuring news that all our hard work is paying off?!  I had to have a growth ultrasound earlier this week because they were actually concerned she was too small (I asked if I could just have some pizza, but they said no)  Turns out, she's 5lbs 5oz, and head down as well!  It gave me the motivation I needed to get through the last few weeks!
