So, disclaimer- don't chart with temps yet (BBT on its way in the mail), but try to pay attention to CM, OPKs, etc. So I am not trying to ask everyone to have ESP and guess whats going on.  More of a "huh... interesting".

So cycles been kinda crazy, started to even out at 27 days then I had a change in Thyroid meds and my body went from 27 to 31 days (January, with 4 days of annoying spotting), then 32 days (Feb). So I guessed I would be the same or longer this month.

Started using OPK's on CD 16 (late I know) and never got a + through yesterday. Thought maybe I was O'ing late or not at all. We tried to cover our bases but did not do a good job with company in town then a stressful week.  

Weird thing is... started spotting dark brown/pinkish yesterday. Either AF is trying to show up early (CD25) or I O'ed before I did OPK's and I am getting implantation spotting. 

We shall see,  gotta love Mother Nature.

I would say next time start OPK's a bit earlier.

Of course, random is always likely.  I am not getting my hopes up that it's anything.

I agree. This month I was torn between staying on the "see what happens" side or the "tracking things seriously" one. I plan to OPK earlier.

Yup for me spotting is usually random. As you can see I had spotting twice already this cycle and I haven't ovulated or seen AF

Well every woman is different, but when I was PG (lost the baby at 7 weeks) I had implantation spotting that I thought was AF coming. But I never really spot before AF, I just get pinkish CM, not straight up blood spotting. But my implantation bleeding sounds exactly like what you are describing. HOWEVER, if you typically spot similar to that before AF shows, I would assume that's what it is, and that shes just coming earlier this month. Im not much help, but that was my experience.

It is what it is. If it's AF trying to show, that would actually be fine with me because it would mean my cycles are trying to be shorter rather than longer. 

Not like I have a choice in the matter anyway LOL!

Well then look at is as a win win situation. If you are PG well thats an obvious WIN, and if you arent, then cycles are shorter which is a little less, but still a valid win!

But I really am hoping its a BFP for you!!! I dont want to give you false hope, but it does sound like my implant bleeding since you also typically have pink CM before AF instead of normal spotting. But since you HAVE had it happen before when it was AF (even though not the norm) I would still try to assume its AF until she doesnt show.

That's how I am looking at it. I have no idea what to expect with my body anymore so anything other than something meaning I will have an even longer cycle this month will be an okay with me.

If it's not AF I hope this wraps up - prolonged spotting is rather frustrating!

and now... it's reddish. Methinks we have an early (even for my recent cycles) AF. But I'll see. Grrr.
