Yeah - I was thinking that. It has  "You're baby can read" feel to it. . .

Haha, THIS. How can they know 'it made a difference'?! The baby was never given a chance to see how they'd be without it. I figure if we have people in our history of mankind that have come up with chemo and drugs to delay Alztheimers and AIDS, then we are smart enough on our own!

  • I have it on my BRU registry.  And I always thought I would buy it when I did have a pregnancy that was working out.  For a while there, it was not available to purchase online.  Now that I am at 18 weeks, there were just other things that were more important that I needed or wanted--like paying for my Obgyn and ultrasound bills (NT Scan bill--$500 deductible for new year--that is really hittting my budget) and prenatal vitamins (yuck fish oil), an infant car seat frame stroller (necessities for the baby), maternity jeans, pants and shirts that fit well--mommy needs to feel good too.  I would say if you have the extra money, it is something that you could try out.  But I have come to the conclusion--it is first things first--some things are just more important than a Babyplus.

  • No, it doesn't work.
  • Hi Ladies, in my opinion it truly does work and is well worth the money. I used it during both my pregnancies and see the wonderful effects of it on a daily basis. My 1st daughter is 21 months old and met all of her milestones on an average of 3 months early than normal. She's always been an amazing self soother, her sleeping habits are incredible and she ceases to amaze my husband and I and our brothers and sisters who are parents of toddlers as well. Her vocabulary is often broader as is her pronounciation and correct use of words than that of other toddlers we know that are at least a year older than her. I can carry on a decent conversation with her, she can count and recite most of her alphabet and is starting to read more and more words each day. My 2nd daughter is 4 months old and was born early due to my placenta previa and was in the NICU for 7 days on a respiratory tube and feeding tube. She ended up getting pneumonia while in there as well. All a while this was all happening to her she always remained calm and very alert. The nurses and neonatologists were all very impressed by her demeanor and alertness, especially in her state of health and prematurity. She started sleeping through the night at 3 months and started rolling over at that time as well. She is already vocalizing with coos and laughing out loud and is constantly alert and content. I think BabyPlus is incredible and worth every penny. I will surely use it with any future pregnancies I am blessed with.
