She also just discovered a book of nursery rhymes that I'm pretty sure she's only in love with because it's full of pictures of cats.

Oh and the other thing that we recently real A LOT of is nursery rhymes! We have several different books a couple friends of mine who are teachers have told me the kids who know their nursery rhymes are always the better readers later on.
We went to the library 2x a week the entire time I was on maternity leave, so she was able to pick out a stack of new books each week. Some were duds, but some were really cute and became her favorites, she'd read with Daddy every night until we had to take them back.
Only one is coming to mind, since we've checked it out more than once. Ballet Sisters, The Newest Dancer. Audrey called it "Tippy Toes", she loved it.
Another one we initiall got from the library last year and it is such a fun book, I had to find it and buy it on Amazon, is "Don't Rock the Boat" It's REALLY a fun book!!!!!
