Finding out the sex early question......

I have a regular appt at the OB today. I'm only 16 weeks but people keep telling me you can find out after 15 weeks on a regular ultrasound. So my question is, since I seem to get transvaginal ultrasounds at every appointment is there a chance they can see if they do one today? DH isn't going with me but asked if they'd be able to tell....he is super ansy to know. I had no clue. I didn't know if it was harder to see vs. an on the tummy scan.

Anyone have a clue?

I wouldn't expect a TVUS to be able to see it, just because of angles.  You never know though.

I didn't get an ultrasound at the 16 week appointment. I know they wouldn't have guessed if I did get one. I wanted to know early, so I made an appointment for a 3D/4D ultrasound at prenatal peek and found out at 17 weeks.

I got an ultrasound at 16 weeks but OB couldn't tell the sex at that time.

i found out at 16 weeks exactly last time that we were having a girl.

No idea. Just was curious in case they did. We'll see

Your OB still does u/s on you? Wow! I had 1 with my OB when we first met, 1 when I was having some extreme uterine pain, and well... that was it.

My big u/s was done by a special office too.

My big u/s was 17 weeks 2 days and they were able to tell me the sex (it was an abdominal u/s though)
