Diaper bag dilemma

SIL bought me a cute Kate Spade diaper bag when we first found out we were pg. I liked it at first but would have preferred to pick out my own bag. We don?t have similar taste or style. I?ve been lusting over the Ju Ju Be bags and want to buy one but feel bad about hurting SIL?s feelings.

 

The bag she got me is messenger style with a long strip of Velcro across the bottom and I?m thinking Velcro might not be a great thing to have on a baby bag. I can tell her I couldn?t use the bag bc of the Velcro but is that just lame?

I think you could just say you like to switch them out like purses. I have one JUJU BE bag and then another cheaper diaper bag and I am about to purchase another JU JU BE. It is ok to have more than one diaper bag.

There's nothing wrong with having 2 diaper bags, maybe one for quick trips to the store and then another for longer outings (like a bigger JuJuBe diaper bag ;-)

That's my thought ;-)

It's ok to have 2 bags. You could always keep one in the trunk of your car with extra diapers, that way you don't have to carry a bunch in your daily bag.

I agree you can have two.  Maybe carry that one when you know you'll see her at first and start carrying the one you like after she's seen you with hers.  That way she won't be offended.

I have 8 diaper bags. ?About 5 of them I change?regularly?to fit the season or event I'm going too. ?Its like changing purses. ?I promise you that you are going to want a change. ?So keep it, and get yourself the one you really want.

I have three diaper bags that I change out all the time.  You should get the one that you really want.

thanks girls. i love the idea of keeping one in the car filled up with dipes...we did buy that giant mini van for a reason. lol

id go ahead and get the jujube....i just ordered mine last week i cant wait till it come in....and you can always use more than one
