Friend of the family passed away this week. :-(

It came on suddenly. Lung cancer (passed in the hospital within a few days after going in). Crazy! No one even knew.

The funeral is Saturday (3 hours away) - P and I leave for Florida the following early morning. It's going to be a tough couple of days!

I am so sorry to hear that. The passing of a friend is always tough but especially when it is so unexpected. You mention "friends of the family" a lot in your posts, so it seems like you have a really good support system around you, that should help a little but.

On another note, I was in your neighborhood a few hours ago--well, in the neighborhood of the cider mill you live near. Every time I'm over that way, I pick out the nice houses and think "I bet that's the kind of house Preston would live in."

Lol. You would have to go down the dirt part (about a mile). Our house is a Cape Cod style on the right. Grey w/white shutters and a red door. You should let me know the next time you are out this way. I wouldn't mind if you stopped by.
