I want to go see it, in a theater, so freaking bad.  Tim Burton + Alice in Wonderland?  YES PLEASE! 

It comes out 2 days after my birthday so I'm playing the bday card to try and get a friend to watch the duo so DH and I can go see it.  If nothing else I'll leave them home with DH and go see it myself.

ON the radio yesterday I heard the guy say that it is more centered around the other characters and not so much about Alice.

It isn't a remake of the original story.  It is a whole new story line about Alice making a return trip when she is older.  The only thing that is the same as the original story is the rabbit hole and the characters.

He doesn't even look like Johnny Dep to me.  He reminds me of Elijah Wood in this movie.

YES!  I've been thinking the same thing for weeks.  I had heard Johnny Depp was in the movie, but when I saw the previews I thought, "That's not Johnny Depp, that's Elijah Wood!"  I think it's the eyelashes and the gap in the front teeth.  But I"m so glad I'm not the only one who thinks this!
