Last night I fell asleep early for the first time in months. DS starts yelling from his room at about 12:15am. "Mommy I'm scared". Poor kid had vomited all over himself and his bed and floor. "Spaghetti came out my mouth. I'm so sorry." He was pale, shivering, confused, and covered in puke. He hasn't puked since he was a little over a year old.
Finally I get him showered and dressed and his bed and room all cleaned. Made his bed and got him to sleep in it. (DH helped a lot)
Then when I put his sheets & comforter in the washer it started leaking and flooded the laundry room/kitchen.
Oh, and yesterday I hurt my shoulder and can barely move my left arm so I'm dealing with most of this one handed.

At least the internet is working again. It was out due to weather almost all day yesterday.
Re: What a night (vent)
I'm sorry. At least you got some sleep before your son woke up!
I can't imagine how hard it is to have a sick and confused kiddo like that.
I hope you have a much better day today!
Mmmm...cake!
"Spaghetti came out my mouth. I'm so sorry."
This breaks my heart a little. Poor little guy. Sorry you had such a rough night!
I know, I was so sad that he was apologizing for being sick.
But he is much better today, a little extra cuddly but no fever and in a good mood.
This is exactly what I was thinking. I'm really sorry you had such a rough night. And I'm sorry your LO was scared. Puking is no fun for anyone, so I imagine it must be extra traumatic for a little guy who might not understand what was going on.
