One of my friends from college just emailed me.

She has a 3 month old...and she is four weeks pregnant.

She's a wreck.

Apparently the condom broke.

I would be super stressed.  I can't even imagine 2 under 2!

My friend's 2nd is due the day before her 1sts 1st bday.

For her, she doesn't care. She dealt with IF for 10 years and had given up, so two miracle babies is just fine with her.

She is however, getting her tubes tied AND her husband is getting fixed. She's all full up on miracles now.

I am having a hard time wrapping my head around having #2 when B is 2!  Wow, that would be tough.

This friend is dealing with some serious PPD issues from what she has said.  So I am wondering if her freak out is a mix of normal and the PPD.

I am really hoping she gets excited, but they only wanted one child...

I have already had nightmares about this happening to me.  I just don't know how I could be pregnant again with a new baby, especially with all the issues I've had.

Dh and his bro are barely 11 months apart. He thinks it's ok if it happens to us too.

DH and his sister are 12 months and 2 days apart.

He thinks that is totally the way to do it.

I told him then he'll have to find another woman to sleep with, because I am not having kids that close together.

I told him I would consider 2 years apart...MAYBE.

I am more of a 3 years apart kind of girl.

2-3 years apart is ok with me. DH also remembers because I am high risk that it will be super hard to have just had a baby and then get KU again. What if I have to go on bedrest?

I didn't even run the risk of this problem.  I was so exhausted after LO came, that Ididn't even have sex with DH until 12weeks post partum.

Lol, one of the guys who is a subcontractor had this happen to him and his wife.  Not quite a year, but still.  Twin boys + another boy 13-14 months later.  I think it would be worse when it was 2 three y.o.'s and a 2 y.o. than two 1 yo.'s and a newborn.

My H is 12 months and 2 weeks younger than his twin sisters!

I saw a POAS post on 0-3 the other day that basically had the woman unexpectedly getting pg at 4 weeks pp.  I just can't imagine having two kids that close together.

I am definitely the 2-3 years apart kind of girl.

I wouldn't mind it, we want a large family with the kids being close in age. Although, I might change my mind once the babe comes.

my RE wouldn't even consider helping us get KU until at LEAST 6 month pp.

DH's grandma had 2 sets of twins one year apart.

11 kids altogether.

This, except I think it was closer to four months before we had sex. granted I also needed surgery at 3 mo, so we had to be very careful.
